Secret Shores

Queensland, Australia
Lizard Island is a spectacular, remote island on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. It is landscaped by many tiny isolated coves that are rarely–if ever–visited by humans. Lizard’s powdery white sands and incredibly deep blue waters make it an amazing location to shoot. I explored the coastline in this tiny boat and shot many rolls of film and on my last day on the island I came upon this tranquil cove–it felt like no one had ever been here before. Using my last roll of film, I decided to include my boat in a few shots, and was absolutely blown away by this fantastic image.
