The coastline of Tasmania, Australia has its own special vibe. The wide open beaches have a certain presence and purity. I always like a striking focal point in an image for impact; this classic rowboat did just that–it had that sun-bleached character that I was searching for. I chose a long exposure to give the ocean a painterly feel.
